Slack Reminder Builder

Slack's /remind command follows the pattern /remind [who] [what] [when], easy to forget when you just want a nudge. Fill in the fields below to assemble the exact command, then copy it into any Slack message box. Everything runs in your browser.

Who to remind
Your command
/remind me to submit the report tomorrow at 9am

Paste this into any Slack message box (a channel, a DM, or your own messages) and press Enter. Slack reads the /remind command and schedules it. Nothing gets sent to the conversation.

FAQ

Slack reminders, explained

How do I set a reminder in Slack?+

Type a /remind command into any Slack message box using the pattern "/remind [who] [what] [when]" and press Enter. This builder assembles that string for you: set who to remind, the task, and when, then copy the result and paste it into Slack.

Can I set recurring reminders?+

Yes. Slack understands repeating phrases in the "when" field, so "/remind me to stand up every day at 9am" or "/remind me to submit the report every Monday at 9am" will fire on that schedule until you cancel it.

Can I remind a channel or someone else?+

Yes. Set the recipient to a teammate like "@alex" to send them a private reminder, or a channel like "#team-standup" to remind everyone in it. Note that Slack only lets you set reminders for other people or channels you are a member of.

How do I cancel or list my reminders?+

Type "/remind list" in any message box to see your active reminders, where you can mark them complete or delete them. There is no undo once deleted, but you can always rebuild the command here.

Is it free?+

Completely free with no login or account required. Everything runs locally in your browser, and Slack's /remind command itself is a built-in feature on every plan.
