Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 10, 2026
Digital Den ("we", "us") builds free web tools, Discord and Slack bots, and FiveM and RedM systems. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site.
Information we collect
- Contact form. When you use our contact form we collect the name, email address, topic, and message you enter, so we can reply. Submissions arrive as email, and there is no public database of them.
- Spam protection. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell humans from bots, plus a hidden honeypot field. Turnstile processes a verification token on Cloudflare's systems.
- Server logs and abuse prevention. Like most sites, our host records standard request information such as your IP address, and we use the IP only to rate-limit the contact form. We do not use it to build a profile of you.
- Cookies and local storage. We store your cookie choice in a first-party cookie and in your browser's local storage. Some tools also save your preferences locally, for example a chosen font style. These stay on your device.
Our tools stay in your browser
Almost every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser: the text, IDs, colors, or code you paste are processed locally and never sent to us. A few tools reach an outside service by design, and only then. The SteamID converter's custom profile-URL lookup sends the vanity name to our server, which asks Steam to resolve it. The Discord and Slack webhook senders post your message straight to Discord or Slack. The image tools load pictures from Discord, YouTube, or Steam's own servers. None of these route your data through us beyond what is described here.
How we use information
- To reply to your messages and provide support.
- To operate, secure, and improve the site, and to prevent spam and abuse.
- To meet legal or safety obligations where required.
We do not sell your personal information.
Third parties we rely on
- Cloudflare hosts the site and provides Turnstile spam protection.
- Resend delivers the email generated by the contact form.
- Steam (Valve) resolves custom profile URLs when you use that feature of the SteamID tool.
- Affiliate partners. If you click an affiliate link, that partner may set its own cookies and collect data under its own policy. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Each third party handles data under its own privacy policy.
Your choices
- Accept or reject non-essential cookies from the banner, and clear cookies or local storage in your browser at any time.
- Choose not to submit the contact form if you prefer not to share those details.
- Request access to or deletion of the contact information you have sent us through our contact page.
Data retention
We keep contact emails only as long as needed to handle your request and our records. Preferences stored on your device stay until you clear them.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
